The Small Assisted Living Alliance (SALA) is a membership organization advocating on behalf of Maryland's small assisted living facilities whose primary focus is family-style care for frail elders who can no longer live alone. All SALA member homes are licensed by the State of Maryland.

Members' homes are found throughout Maryland from rolling hills and mountains to urban/suburban or seashore settings.
